Interpreting (consecutive and simultaneous)
In consecutive interpreting, the speaker and the interpreter speak by turns. The speaker delivers a fragment of their speech and then the interpreter renders the fragment into a target language. There is no need to install a soundproof booth and special audio equipment. Therefore, it is an affordable but time-consuming method of interpreting.
- training courses
- visits at notary offices
- assistance during business trips
- family events
In simultaneous interpreting (concurrent with the speech delivered in the source language) during a conference, meeting or session, the interpreter works in a soundproof booth, listens to the speech and immediately renders it into the target language using a microphone connected to audio equipment with headphones available to the audience. Usually 2 interpreters are employed to cover longer sessions without breaks.
- conferences, congresses, meetings of company governing bodies
- film screenings, festivals, presentations
We provide quality certified equipment used for simultaneous interpreting. Please book in advance.
